Thankfully no winter here! 
I have one lil problem though.....the holes in the pot are quite big and the mix is medium size pieces....hmmm 
Would packing peanuts work in loosely stuffing the bigger holes around the pot?

do not stuff the holes with packing peanuts....the roots need to breathe....

How about the base layer then? so as to prevent the medium from dropping out over time because it will be hanging.

use a bed of coconut fiber, arrange the roots well and sprinkle the mix around the roots then hang

I am always looking forward to pictures of your Vanda blooms....you grow them in an ideal environment for Vandacious plants....and they are all well established with healthy looking roots and leaves

Wait till you see this dbl spike Mokara that finished opening up completely....pictures to come in a new thread this evening...and i may also have to update the pics on my V. Prao Sky Blue thread too

I just took the pictures! As I thought the V. Prao Sky Blue isnt fully opened but i will post the pics i took, and the Yellow Mokara NOID is all done except for one which is half opened
