What did you decide to do ? I top cut my Vanda's when they get very big and have Keikis that way I have a large root system to support numerous Keikis and a large adult plant with it's own root system. I've seen growers who cut the adult plant in numerous sections forcing keiki growth. I only top cut when I have to.

I mean, I have the means to store it over the winter and I dont see why I should top it... other being a big pain in the butt! lol. Ideally, I am guessing, if the plant is left alone, I can make more multiple spikes. right?

I just want what's best for the plant. I know I sound like a concern parent. Its full in bloom now. I am going to take a couple of pictures and post them tomorrow.
