For myself I never see it but maybe it is more cultivated in Northern Thailand where temperature are colder than in Bangkok.

Thanks for the information.
In Taiwan, most of the plants came form China many years ago. Seedlings are also available recently. The species does like cool weather, and hence it is not so popular here.
