V. luzonica?

I'm busy trying to pick an orchid online for my Valentine's present from my husband , and found V. luzonica (also looking at V. coerulea). It is GORGEOUS and I love it, but cannot find much of any information online about caring for it. Is it much the same as V. coerulea? I was planning on sticking a coerulea in a vase per the sticky on this forum, would that also work for luzonica?

I live in west Texas, so it's (usually) fairly warm, dry in the winter and semi-humid in the summer, but will be moving to Phoenix in July where it is very dry most of the year.
