Default Aerides maculosum & Ascda Red Baron

Just 2 of a number of plants out for christmas.

Aer. maculosum has about 1/3rd the spike open.
The Ascda is its first flowering for me. An M/C I've had for some time.

Good growing. I have never seen Aerides maculosum. It looks like Aerides rosea and ssems to have thin leaves.

It does look like rosea only this plant is atleast 3 times the size of rosea in all respects. I have rosea close by this and its dwarfed dramatically.
