Thanks for info.

Based on photos in my link below, how old do you think this is? Old enough to divide?

Any chance that it won't be scented? It's the second day of blooming and no scent yet.

I just found that my plant's 1st spike aborted yesterday , too. I am so looking forward to its blooms.
Does this mean that I have to wait until next year for the next blooming cycle ? Or do I just cut off the aborted spike and hope that another spike will emerge ???

Bummer. Good luck, I have no idea how often these bloom.

DO you need to cut off the spikes at the end of flowering?

Correct me if i'm wrong but as with most orchids, it should be in growing stages after flowering right? But, i live in the tropics and it's sunny the whole year round. Any idea if I should give it a rest period? Or do i keep watering and fertilizing and try to get it flowering again after a couple of months?
