Managed to find an undamaged flower from the post treatment & thought I would post it for you. The flowers have a strong and pleasant fragrance also.

This was one of the first orchids I bought, though it never fully recovered from its shipping ordeal and finally succumbed. Your pictures have pushed me over the edge to get another, for which I am thankful.
What is the predominant scent and does it have a range (such as, sweet in the morning to more spicy in the evening)?

It has a strong, deep musk rose fragrance that seems to be there all the time, stronger during the PM.

Thanks for the scentillating update, Roy. I've not seen that scent mentioned before - a wonderful addition. It's mostly been described as 'spicy' and I've even seen 'grape', if you can believe it.
