Vanda denisoniana var. hebraica - Orchid Board

My Vanda denisoniana var. hebraica has finally bloomed again after taking a 20 month leave of absence...I used it as a pod parent for one of my crosses, and then it decided to grow three keikeis afterward...but it's blooming again now...

The var. hebraica is known for it's orange to brown spots, which mine has aplenty.

I have got to admit that this is definitely the most beautiful denisoniana I've ever seen.

Could make a nice hybrid if crossed with vanda jennae.

Hey, David. Don't you just love the scent of the flower? I thought I got V. brunnea, but it turned out to be var. hebracia. Mine is much lighter with spots. I love it.

Beautiful David. I have one that is hangin in there barely after a blown condenser dripped many gallons of oil all over it. I doubt its going to make it but I'm still hoping. Again, yours is gorgeous man.

Beautiful. I love the spots.

I also want to thank you for posting most of your vandas with both a pic of the flowers and one of the whole plant. I appreciate seeing both.

David, wonderful plant but does it have a lot more flowers than a V.denisoniana usually have ??? I've only flowered one which I posted here and thought that around 6 flowers was tops for a spike, by the avail' info.
