Vanda denisoniana
Just opening for me and a first time flowerer for me since I bought it. I think its out of season for my part of the world though. Still needs to yellow up a bit also.

Fantastic flowers, Roy. Do you have this one growing alongside your paphiopedilums? I noticed the tessellated leaves in the background that appear to belong to a paph. If so, I didn't realize that this species would flower under the lower light levels that paphs prefer. Have the flowers started to produce any fragrance yet? Congratulations on your blooms.

Very nice. It already looks like a beautiful yellow, without changing to more. I like the bright color.

Steve, everything grows in the one house, Paphs, Phrags, Vandas, Ascocendas, Aerides, Rhychostylis,
I just place them (hopefully) in the best locations within the house.
The reason for the Paph plants showing is the I had to lay the plant down to keep it steady. The wind here today was so strong the whole greenhouse was shaking and the plant wouldn't stay still.

Very nice Roy! The color on this guy is really outstanding in my opinion...the greenish edges and the orange on the lip really make it stand out.
Well done...and thanks for sharing it with us.

I like the combination of yellow/green/orange, and the shape of the flowers.

Thanks David & all, I'm very happy with it. I'll have to check the scent, had time to take the pic and leave, didn't notice anything.
I would like to get some seedlings with this crossed Vanda dearei called V. Gnana Kumar. I've not seen one anywhere unless they have been misrepresented as a species or similar.
