I agree! Fla swap meet. I too only have babies though right now as far as vandas go, but a free baby vanda is good in my eyes! I have other things I could divide, but no vandas...hehehe
Marilyn,
It is really nice to walk through the vanda houses and be among all the varieties, blooms, etc. It sure does get expensive though! I always tell myself, just one plant...last time I ended up with 6! If you ever make it down to Florida, at least you will already know how to find out exatly where all the best growers are!

Glad you guys liked it. Dave I'd been lookin at it for a while everytime I go to Bonjong and finally got it glad I did too, Ben warned me that it might have more green than I wanted but he didn't know for sure so Im happy overall how it worked out.

I am in Brevard COunty and mhy denisonia hasn't blumbed since I bought it 2 years ago. It gets watered & fertilized regulary. I have it hanging about halfway down from the top of my greenhouse. Is it a highlight vanda? I have other vandas that seem to be dormant too.
Any advice would be appreiated.

Hi Ninjaqueen and welcome to the board, sorry I didnt answer you sooner. I really can't take credit for this bloom since it was already spking when I got it. I don't know how much lighting your greenhouse gets though, maybe not enough sun? All my vandas get about 75% sun the only sun I avoid is the midday sun directly overhead, otherwise they get morning and afternoon sun till sunset. Good luck.

This is gorgeous. I'm going to have to take a drive down there and buy one. Swamper, do you know if they had lots of these? I particularly love the color, and of course, the scent is a plus.
