I've got a hook on the ceiling near the window I can hang this on. Do you guys suggest basket or no basket? and what do I use to hang in? How do I hang it? or will it be better in a big glas vase?
I think... if it doesn't come in a basket, it comes down to personal preference on whether or not you want one. I suggest having the basket, as... if you will be growing yours like I grow my vandas... you'll be taking it down from its hook to mist/water/bath and all the movement will probably cause wear and tear on the plant if you aren't hanging it from the basket to support it.
I've never tried the glass vase method, though it sounds intriguing. Probably do you well to dunk it in a bucket or the kitchen sink every other day for maybe half an hour. as well as misting.

good idea actually! like taking it into the bath to drench it.
The glass vase thing is great. I've seen it in garden centres, where the vanda's in a tiny little plastic baskets, and in a big clear glass vase with the leaves sticking out over the top. Then as you said, 15-20 minute soak in the morning, a good misting and off you go. i've also heard worm tea works wonders for vandas...
