so i got a bonus winter spike from this guy and what a different plant!

How cool. Temperature (and I suspect amount of light too... days are shorter in winter) definitely makes a difference. I have some things that go the opposite way, stronger color in cooler weather. All part of the adventure!

One other factor I forgot to add, this plant was majorly hurt by the bleach attack. So it might have bloomed out of panic. Maybe it was some how falsely triggered to spike. Dunno.

All part of the adventure indeed!
