I've owned three neofinetia growths for about a year. They arrived potted in sphagnum (all in one pot), so I left them alone since the sphagnum was in pretty good shape. About a month ago, I decided to separate them and mount them onto cedar blocks, since they weren't doing much. It was a gamble since my humidity averages about 55%, but I thought it was worth a try. I also moved them to a room with slightly warmer temps during the day. I water them in the morning and give them a spray during the day if they need it.
All three fans started spiking shortly after. I have no idea if it was a coincidence or not, but I'll take it. The picture below is the biggest growth. The other 2 are smaller in size and their spikes are not nearly as advanced. I'm looking forward to the amazing fragrance!
