Oonami Seikai
Today Oonami Seikai has opened her flowers again! This plant flowered in June with three spikes and sixteen flowers. It bloomed again in late August with one spike and four flowers. Now she is just showing off.....
There are four yummy fragrant flowers and a bud. This plant was my first Neofinetia and she has grown well. There are thirteen fans and some teenie growths emerging. No wonder I fell so hard for Neofinetia.
She is getting pretty big, going to need a special pot for her!

Happy healthy plant. The leaves are impeccably clean with the correct color shade, meaning you are giving it proper light. It is also traditionally potted. Good growing!

Great plant, Patty! You could not go wrong if one of your first Furan was this plant! I believe there is something mystical about this plant. My mystical plant was my Nishidemiyako, that I use as my avatar. When it bloomed for me, I was over the moon!
I know the feeling! Well grown.

Thanks Matt! I tend to agree about the first Furan, I seemed to put expectations on this plant unfairly because it was my first. Other Neos flowered, the Oonami Seikai waited. By the time Oonami Seikai flowered, others had finished. Maybe it was the time of year? Maybe it was the maturity of the plant, I don't know. I'm just very pleased with the growth and health of this one plant, it seems very strong.
The plants from Al's, for the most part, have a dated tag on them which I appreciate. These dates signify when Al purchased them from Seed Engei, showing me a bit of a clue as to their age. This Oonami Seikai has a tag from 2011.
Tonight it is very fragrant, I love it!
