Hi Ginger! I agree, they have a great website, easy to navigate and very easy to find plants. You and I should get a discount on our next order <S>.

Thankfully, all the places I buy plants and orchids pack very carefully. There are very good, caring vendors out there.
The new additions look very healthy!

Very nice Houmeiden and Tenzan! For 1K each ?
You should take a picture of the Kinkousei with a window behind so the star shape translucent spots show up

Really great packing
That packing method is the same as I've seen from one in Germany. It really does protect the plant

Kinkousei was an impulse buy for me-- wasn't sure i liked it at all. It arrived damaged from NWO after bouncing around Detroit for two weeks (yes...two weeks!) before I got it. NWO did an awesome job are packaging it but in general, no packaging will survive Detroit Postal Service sitting on it. Anyway, it rebounded and it's one of my favorites now. My wife thought something was wrong with it. When I told her that the leaves are supposed to have those spots she looked at me with the "ok, whatever gets you going, dude" look. I'm so misunderstood! LOL
Anyway, it's a favorite plant now.

It is always good to know that these kind of vendors exist. I will always give my business to those who can provide correct attention to details and loving care for the plants than making a buck.

I did not see this comment s.kallima. NO, <Thank God> these three plants did not cost $1K each. These healthy and interesting plants averaged out @ $55 each. I now have two Houmeiden, one single growth and this two growth with two babies. The single growth is also very healthy but small. It is throwing out beautiful ruby red root tips. The Tsuke is a very pale greenish white color with the leaves starting at this coloration from the center to greener leaf tips. It looks very delicate.

LOL s.kallima, I understood you clearly. I feel a little vulnerable regarding my Neofinetia acquisitions. I am in the midst of planning each plant's optimal area for growth in my house. And I have realized I don't have enough HOUSE. So I have to do a little organizing and shelf installation to get every one positioned properly. Acquiring more plants causes me to have to reconfigure my planning. I am concerned at my lack of discipline when it comes to Neofinetia!
I was looking at your countryman's photos on Facebook -- known as Leslie and lives in Toronto. The photos that show how his plants are displayed are breath taking. Toronto is a huge industrial town, I spent so many months flying in and out of Toronto and working in that town, from the street the city is not that attractive. But from Leslie's aeire the city glows. Especially with these lovely Neofinetia in the foreground!
