Yea Ginger! I'm so happy for you. I put a bid in just to see what would happen, in the end two people really went for the seed pod bearing Beniougi.

If anyone here didn't bid on it because of me I owe you big time. I really wanted that Neo. It took restraint not to bid on it until the last few seconds. I just watched it all week & waited. eBay is hard for me I just want to buy the darn thing.

CORRECTION TO MY EARLIER POST:

On the Seed Engei October list, the pricier Beniougi is 120 (not 150).

Anyone seen the 10 up for bid from yonex1028?
Anyone received plants from this grower in the past?

You have mentioned here here before. She has a plant that is extremely expensive and on your wishlist

She's also a good grower and has all kinds of very rare varieties.

See posts upthread (quoted here). I'm guessing these are mostly divisions of plants in her collection.

I vaguely remember her from a while ago, when a lot of us were just getting into Neos a few years back.

And when I was just getting started earlier this year, I read some of her old posts that appear among the sticky threads in this section of OB. And it is her flickr that has pics of her Kinkirin (amazing variegated bean leaf), which is the most unattainable plant on my wish list.

Neofinetia Falcata - a set on Flickr

I see this Hakubotan did indeed sell at that price (500) with a single bid.

I'm glad I was busy doing other things and forgot about the auctions. I had my eye on a couple.

As for myself, I was the sole bidder on the very small (3 leaves) Beniougi for 34.99. I was just itching to buy something, since I've abstained the past few weeks.

Neofinetia Falcata Beniougi

Yeah, I know it's very small, but once in a while it's nice to start with a small growth and take on the challenge of nurturing a plant to grow it bigger. Plus, as I said, I had an itch to buy something.

Anyone else here get anything from tonight's auction?
