Do you know who they were? I just waited till the last 20 seconds then bid. I bid a few times within the last 15 minutes too. Next time I'm waiting it out and going for the kill within the last 10 seconds.

None of the other 3 bidders have given any buyer's feedback to japaneseorchids going as far back as late May, so they're either quiet buyers or not recent regular customers of japaneseorchids on ebay.

Should've known that you would know that I'm scared to ask what you know about me! Bet you know my name, address, SSN, and my credit card number too!

Purple Neo. Manjushage
Seed Engei just posted pics of 33 Neos on Facebook from an orchid show in Japan. This was one of the Neos posted. Has anyone seen a purple Manjushage before? Check out all of the pics I was drooling over the Neos and the pots.

But I only know 3 or 4 of your names and not sure which one is real.

Yes, it's called Hanakanzashi. Unfortunately that variety does not bloom with 3 spurs every year. One year it may, the next year it may not.

Oh thanks Tracy how did you learn all of this info? In comparison to you guys I feel like a child who rode the short bus to school.

Very cool and I see a growing trick in the photo note for Shishinden.

So for shorter leaves and tighter growth, hold the water and grow under bright light.
Some impressive specimen-size clumps of bean leaf varieties too, like the Kirinmaru.
And I wish there were some more shots of that Daishogun from other angles.

I don't know if it is the same as you mention, Satomi on her FB page says it is breeding between MANJUSHAGE and RAIZAN
Very nice plants at this show !

Matt, I see you missed the Jukai, Satomi had some in her august catalog for almost the same price it went for
