I almost bid on that one, Jay, but restrained myself. You got a great plant!

Congratulations Jayfar. That is a beautiful plant. On a side note, it looks like someone bought the Neofinetia falcata 'Seiryujishi' 青竜獅子 5 growth from Orchids Unlimited.

I bought the ‘Seriyujishj' as it seemed a good buy with 5 growths.
Before I bid on ebay I usually look up prices on the New World and Orchids Limited web sites to determine what I'm willing to bid.
This is the most expensive Neo I've aquired ,
but I really liked the twisted leaves. I was outbid on the one from speech1248, but the one I got seems a larger plant.

As far as it goes, I am still holding out tho I do know I would like the Amami type, the Hisue, one of the bean type, as well as one of the stripes, one of the blue flowered hybrids as well as a purplish cultivare...I am still forming my list. I have always moved slowly as sometimes when I have moved fast I have regretted a decision over time!--Ted

A good choice for sure. This is one of my top 5 favorites.

You may want to get a few while it's still Summer. That way you can put at least a little new growth on them, and maybe bloom one or two, before it's time to tuck them in for their cool, dry Winter rest at the end of November.

AND are sometimes posters on this BOARD! Their business is located in Williamsfield, OH--east of Cleveland.

I hope Mystic Orchid doesn't mind too much about my "snooping". This makes me more confident that I can purchase these plants and know that the vendor isn't some fly by nite organization. I have already chosen NINE gotta have Neos from their auction, including the Shitake Suruzume - Purple Tsuki, that I posted earlier. It's a good thing payday is Friday!
I just realized that the ebay plant from speech1248 shipped from Ann Arbor, MI, even though ebay gives their location as Williamsfield OH, a distance apart of 233 miles. Perhaps they moved and didn't update their ebay profile.

Yoroi Doshi arrived well packed and in great condition. It's not mounded, but the moss is fresh in a regular 3-1/2" pot.

You will be throwing that list away.

Did you Paypal that? Sometimes that will identify the seller.

Yep, the paypal gives a first name of Olga (don't want post full name on Internet) and the mailing label is from Nikita. I believe the owners of Mystic Orchids were Rich and Dawn (according to listings from Orchid Events at which they appeared), so doesn't seem to be the same people.

Hmmm interesting!I think you should email them and ask if they are a nursery or just a hobbyist
