Seed Engei occasionally provide plants that are mutations of Amami Island Furan. Since mutations come from seedlings, you would have to grow several generations in order to register it, right? Otherwise this particular plant is one of a kind?
So did someone here end up winning this amami no tou?

I know it's not ebay...but Satomi's list for August is tempting me, but I am holding off because I can't tell if I'm killing the three little ones I got from her back at the beginning of August. So far I see new roots everywhere so that's always good. That $350 Manjushage looks nice...different flowers are cool!

Why do you think there is a problem with your Neos reliablefool? Post some pictures and let us take a look?

The August list has a lot of (relatively speaking) inexpensive plants. I'd be interested in getting a couple of them but probably not going to--I have enough! LOL!

Yes, I really have enough Neofinetia. But I could not resist getting these two plants: Seiryujishi 青龍獅子 and Kinkousei 金光星. I was the only bidder for these two plants--there were some wild bidding on other Neofinetia that night.

When you see the pictures of this Kinkousei 金光星, it doesn't look healthy, it has splotches and some brown marks. But the interesting thing about this plant is the leaves have a unique characteristic which is called 'sukashiboshi' (transparent stars). When you hold this plant up against light, you see bright spots on the leaves.

The Seiryujishi 青龍獅子 has a lot of contortion and this one has a lot going for it.

Has anyone noticed that Seed Engei has changed their pictures' background from the bright blue color to something a little bit more vague off white/blue-ish or in some pictures, black cloth?

Notice yonex1028 has several plants re-listed for the second time for Sunday early evening.

yonex1028 | eBay

The minimum bid for Musashi has been reduced from 1,000 to 800. Not my cup of tea, but it is a very rare one.

After a short hiatus, Seed Engei has offered up some unusual and a little more pricey plants. I'm watching several of them. In the opposite direction there is a Manjushage that is priced below US$70!!

I saw that Matt I was more than surprized at that price. I have missed them but I think Satomi was in Japan. Good to see them back.
