I've got it on my watch list, but no intention of spending $500+ today.
Neofinetia Falcata Popular Marginal Stripe Japaneseorchid Fukiden
I don't know the seller either, but interestingly most of their feedbacks are as a buyer and shows that they've been buying various orchids on ebay for 10 years and bought a lot of neos last year, mostly from SE.
FWIW, a slightly smaller single growth fukiden is listed for exactly that price on SE's website.

Ginger, you might want to contact Dr Kristen @ NWO. They had a Fukiden up for auction several months go--it sold for quite a bit, but then there was some bidding controversy. Anyway, I'm sure NWO will help you acquire this King of Furan!

Jayfar, how do you manage to live with a couple of very expensive plants? If I were to spend $500.00 on a plant--even if is a Fukiden--I would actually spend a lot of sleepless nights worrying about it.

Fukiden is a very hard variety to grow. It takes great skill to master ... With that in mind, if anyone is still learning to grow these, be aware of this... Others who have grown neos for a while, and are comfortable with this info, it is a beautiful variety to grow and enjoy! A well grown plant is a delight to enjoy!

I am going to take your advice Leslie I have only grown Neos for 3 years or so. I am getting ahead of myself thanks for bringing me back to reality. When you have time to share culture info please tell us what the requirements are to grow this beautiful Neo successfully. Everyone here knows that I am a senior citizen "70" so my reality is to do it now & don't start with a seedling

May I ask, what makes this variant hard to grow? How is it any different from Nishidemiyako/Gojo-fukurin/Higashidemiyako, besides price?
