Sorry I misspelled that word. It should be "defalcator". It really is NOT a good term to apply to what happened a couple of weeks ago when a bidder had gone so high in their bidding that his/her action prevented others putting in a bid. And then having to withdraw their bidding. By my use of this term, I was accusing the bidder of cheating. Which is not what I think happened. A defalcator is someone who deceives or tricks others into thinking something is true when in reality it is false.

They never knew what hit them!
And well under budget, or at least well under my max bid. Placed bid only at 10 seconds before end.
Now I've a traveling companion for my Hime-Kaioumaru.

Jay, you got the Karanishiki for a good price. I've seen them go for a lot more.

The new batch that newworldorchids previewed on FB hasn't been put up on ebay yet, but they have relisted 3 that didn't get bids last time, including a very nice Seionishiki, for Monday afternoon thru evening.

I love NWO's plants... more than others... but I have to buy plants I like in few fan count. Otherwise I'm priced out of this hobby!

Congrats Jay!
It's a little beauty.
This is the only way to go about bidding when there is something that you really want.

That's a feature, not a bug, allowing us the pride of growing an itty bitty plant into a big honkin' specimen plant.
