Yes, I have seen that thread; it is a classic. He is a bright and very nice young man. I met him at a conference in VA Beach and was very impressed with his pleasant manner.

I finally took the time to read that article. Its quite informative and I actually learned a few things. Very worth picking up to add to your orchid library!

I assume you mean the issue 70-2 from 2006, with the Jason Fischer article. I wonder if they still have the other issue: DEMYSTIFYING THE ORIGIN OF NEOFINETIA FALCATA. Part 1 - THOMAS JOSEPH MULHOLLAN, M.D., Orchid Digest, July, Aug, Sept 2004.
We have access to the badly photocopied pdf, linked at the beginning of the thread, but that one is missing a page and the illustrations didn't copy well, as previously noted.

Jayfar, I just sent Michael Pugh this title. I'm assuming there would be a part 2? So I asked for that issue if available. I'll let you know what he says.

If there ever was a part 2 of the Mulhollan article it isn't listed in OD's indexes of articles.

Since you guys have read his article, why not check out some fuukiran in his own collection?
Went to drop something off for my sensei today and asked him if I could snap some pics of his plants with my phone.
Manjyushage
Seikai & Oomousu
These are just a few of the many enormous fuukiran he has in the orchidweb greenhouse. I only had time to take few photos. It's fun watching these specimens get bigger each year. Hope you guys enjoy the pics

Wow! These are absolutely beautiful. Is the picture with guy holding the strange Neofinetia Dr Mullhollan? You are so lucky to be so close to such a huge nursery. BUT I don't envy your winters. I lived in Golden Valley, MN for four very long, very cold winters.
Thank you LinhT for sharing those pictures. I can't wait for when my Neos get that size. Now I want a Ononokomachi. What a great looking plant and amazing flower. Your picture of the Manj in front of that display of purple wandering Jews is definitely a keeper. It is an excellent photo. I want that plant too. Yikes, I better stop. Lol

Your getting your Neo luminaries confused. That is none other than Jason Fischer.
