Im glad you noted that Neos are not prone to pests. Besides every thing else about these plants, I thought the same but I kept thinking I was just lucky OR since I have the Neos in a completely different room from all other orchids, there was no way the bugs would find them.
Unlike Jayfar, I am NOT into experimenting malware with Neos.

The only "pests" I have ran into with neos are fungus gnats. But they aren't really problematic IMO. All my neos are healthy, despite the one or two gnat I see every now and then.
Actually, if it weren't for the fungus gnats, I wouldn't have gotten into carnivorous plants. So in turn, the gnats were beneficial to me, personally, as it made me branch off into a different (but similar) hobby!

Recently some of my Neos have arrived with mealy bugs. Two years ago, two months after purchase, mealy bug crawled out of the center of my Kibana. It was with a few other Neos that I had had for a year without any pests.
Since then, I always spray new plants.

Long time no update on my thread. Most of the updates I do now are all on facebook or my instagram (jeremiah_chua).
Anyway, here's a picture of my manjushage. I was playing around with my DSLR yesterday and snapped this photo for fun.

Incredibly beautiful. I still think this is one of the most fabulous flower varieties there are.

Nice flowers Jeremiah! I always stake the flowers apart during budding to display better. It takes patience but can be done.
