Neofinetia falcata 'Cosmo'
I bought this plant in 2005 even though I read that Neos grow well but bloom poorly in So. Florida. Not true. The plant is over a foot wide and has been in bloom since mid-April. Easily a favorite. The 'Cosmo' name comes from my beloved pooch who had a curly coat.

That's a beautifully grown falcata!!! I will have to show mine what's running against here in South Florida. It needs to hurry and bloom already. Where in S. Fla are you??

We leave the plant outdoors put put it on a hook by the door so we can enjoy the fragrance. The jasmine haven't come into bloom yet, so we count on this one to soften the air with a great scent, like coconut and vanilla.
Roly0217 - I live on Miami's upper eastside not far from the bay. With all the problems Miami has, it's a great place to carve out a little bit of paradise and grow some orchids.
