Angraecum Crestwood 'tomorrow star'
Exactly the same time of flowering every year. This is an earlier pic but it will be in full bloom by 21st January. Will post further pic when all ten buds are in flower.

Mine opened 2 weeks later than last year; it was in full bloom by January 5th. It has 13 flowers (the 14th blasted). Last year it had 19 buds and 2 blasted. They fill the house with fragrance every night! This is my husband's favorite orchid in my collection.

Not certain about the age. I bought it 3 years ago. I am not home but I will try to post pictures from my member's gallery.

If the links do not work go to member galleries, AndreaK.
Ok, one came through as an image, while the other is a link. The image is from last year's blooming. The link is a close-up of this year's flowers.

Thankyou. Looks like a well cared for and very well grown plant.I would have thought that this would have a multitude of roots coming out in all directions, Mine is in a pot and it wants to root in pots almost 2feet away both at the back and front of the plant.

Actually, the roots on the back side of the plant are wandering quite a bit. That side of the plant tends to get stronger sun exposure.

Just another three views ---- for comparison.
Pic of roots.
the flower measures 5" x 6".
The plant measures 28" in height from top of compost and 27" in width
I bought this as a 10" tall plant some 7 years ago.,

The comparison seems fun and interesting.
My plant is:
23" tall from the top of the medium
27" wide
flowers measure about 5.5" across; spurs are 7" long
As you can see from the attached pictures of this year's blooming, the roots are wandering on this side of the plant. I also have 5 small keikis growing from the base (it was originally 6 - I made a bad judgment call and removed one too soon). I think I will just let the plant become a massive specimen before attempting to separate. Unfortunately, I do not think this year's presentation of flowers is as nice as the previous year. The flower quality is equal to or better though.
