Jerry, you are in a grow zone where this plant can thrive outdoors; you have the right humidity in the atmosphere....cool to warm culture: well its equatorial and needs warm bright shaded sun which you have(put it indoors when the rains downpours and temp get below 50's)....water it in the morning then let it dry all day....weekly weakly fertilizer....its a Vanda tribe and a Tricoglottis alliance ....if you can grow a Neo .... I sure think you can grow these....just man up

*Monika, if you can let this plant bloom; you can definitely grow Vandas....trust your instincts

Wonderful flower, Monika, and I agree with Bud, especially on the high humidity.

Bud,
I grow a lot of my plants outdoors during the warmer months and my most recent plant was lost with outdoor growing this past summer. I am convinced that this plant just can't tolerate the daily 90's that we have here for months on end and that is probably the reason that none of the many growers in this area do not have the plant.

And when we moved in here-we could call ourself Lucky-i dont want to go into Details-And it was before my Addiction ( to Orchids) I live in a Condo with North and East Facing Windows-and you are right-it is at Times -especially this Time of Year-dark in here. But Spring and Summers are good-we got big Windows 8'x6' and i try to provide enough Light and what ever else my Orchids need and sofar so good.
And you know-if everybody lived at the South Side-you would have no Neighbores acrosse the Street
Well I bow to you sir!
And here I stress about my light levels.
Those are really big Windows btw....

Lol... I don't have any neighbours across the street. Just a hill with some wildlife...
You've inspired me to get this plant!
