Default In bloom - Aerangis punctata

I'm so happy!!! I just came home to find the bud open!
For info, I got this at the end of April this year. It started a spike in mid may. It has also grown a new leaf during this time. Here are a couple pictures of its development since I have had it..
enjoy!

I am a big Angraecoid fan and I am also partial to white flowers and miniatures so just let me say that I really like your plant.

Thanks all. Yes I want more of these!
I'm afraid I did a stupid thing...
I gave it a quick dip before going to work in the morning(while hubby was screaming for me to hurry up & get into the car) and I'm pretty certain I must have got the flower wet- I can't see why else it would happen? ...came home in the evening to find it closed up ....well that has certainly taught me to handle with care at all times!
Luckily, I have a chance of an other flower in a couple months..so I'll be careful from now on not to do it ever again!

It wasn't the soaking that did it. Some of the Aerangis (as well as some of the Angraecum) just lose the flower rather quickly. Apparantly this is one. I regularly soak Angraecum didieri and it keeps the blossoms for weeks. I try to keep Aerangis citrata dryish and the blossoms last a few days. Just the way it is, I am afraid. It was nice anyways, and I have located one here to buy.
