Default selagenella good for terrarium?

Wondered if anyone has this moss known as spike moss as an addition to their terrarium. I got some and considering making a terrarium. What would be the most common orchid i could put in the terrarium.

I haven't had the best of luck with it. Others swear by it for terrariums. I would say go for it because it is used very often with success. I bought a good sized clump for my terrarium a few years ago. Its still alive, but just a few weeks after I bought it it rotted away to a few strands. It is still at that point. Not much change since then. But its still alive.

Funny...I have the same problem. It looked great at first but now it is a little ratty looking as parts of the stems have died out. Perhaps it is in dormancy?
