I agree, I don't think I'll have much room for other plants in between the orchids. Most of the orchids I chose are micro-mini orchids (potentially only exception being the gastrochilus and dyakia)
Bjmac: do you know the fc output of the jungle dawn lights?

I don't know the fc of the lights, but they seem to be putting enough out to burn a few leaves at the top of the tank. I also have them over my neofinetia tank and the neo are showing good color and are blooming. There is only going to be room for one hood on your tank, but that should be plenty of light for your plants.

One more item about fertilizing. I have only fertilized my tank twice in two years and this will help keep your plants small. I would have thought that they needed more, but the plants seem to be doing fine.
