Trichspalinx orbicularis has several blooms, such a dark purple. Interesting leaf color when they first emerge.

Cute flowers! I have a Trichosalpinx chamaelepanthes that I’ve had for a few years and it is an awesome plant. It is very different than your Trichosalpinx, grows like a vine and has tiny leaves that resemble watermelons. I’ve never tried any other Trichosalpinx, there are many. Your plant looks very happy!

One of my favorites in the terrarium! I purchased one for my daughter in March because she has always loved my plant. Every day she sends me pictures of her plant blooming. They really are an amazing miniature. Hard to capture the flowers even with a macro lens.

Sinningia muscicola (rio das pedras) this is the smallest sinningia. The plant clump is about 1.5 inches in diameter, it is growing on the back wall on cork. I have two other ones on the floor, but this plant is doing the best. The terrarium is now in Nashville for a week then on to the Smokey Mountains.

Leaving the Smokey Mountains after a month here, very enjoyable time seeing the sites. We were lucky that being on the western side of North Carolina our weather was not too bad, many rainy days, but no flooding. The rest of North and South Carolina have had a lot of damage and will take a long time to recover. The neos and orchids are doing great. Many new growths on the neos and the orchid terrarium needs lots of trimming. No new blooms at this time.

I'm assuming you get a majority of your orchids from andy's, right? Where do you get your other plants from? I have a terrarium that I'm looking to add some ferns, vines, bromeliads etc. I have the 8x8x12 exo terra.

I have gotten 95 per cent of my orchids and plants from Glass Box Tropicals. Mike has been great about finding something I have wanted and his shipping has been great. He has a good amount of the smaller orchids that looks right for the size terrarium we have. Andy's has been my other supplier.

Call Tropiflora in Sarasota, Florida. They have a lot of small terrarium stuff that isn't on their Web site.
