Lockhartia oerstedii flowering
This Lockhartia oerstedii has gained some attention. It has been flowering for last six months in my warm orchidarium and it just keeps getting better and better. 22 to 25C daytime, 16 to 18C night time.

I remember the pictures of the orchidarium some months ago. That is probably the happiest Lockhartia in the world. Amazing.

I have checked my photos and it actually started with first few spikes in March after about four months rest.

If I tried to grow this tiny little thing in my big sunroom it would get lost in space.

You could send in Lassie to find it and bring it home.

But if it was lost too long and not watered it might dry up and become mumyfied.

Don't worry, there's plenty of water in the tank at the Shady Rest Hotel.
