Leaf Tail Gecko tank...orchid help??

Hey,
I have a Uroplatus lineatus, common name Lined Leaf-tail gecko. I want to create a planted tank for him and I was referred here from Vivarium Forums..
Just to let you know, I barley know ANYTHING about plants lol, so I'm going to need some major help.

I have a hexagonal tank, 2' high, 18" from any point side to side, and each panel is 10" wide.
My temps are fairly low, 70f-85f tops during the day but usally around the higher 70s. Night temps drop a bit lower. Humidity will be high, 70%-100% but tha is not constant. Misting the tank is usually at night.

As of now I have no lighting in my tank and would prefer to keep it that way but I could add lighting for sure. The tank is located by a window but it's on the shady side of the house. A couple of the other plants I was thinking of including were pothos and lucky bamboo, but I'm open to suggestions on that too...I have no idea what I'm doing!!
I want to create bioactive soil...HOW???

Lineatus are from Madagascar. Is/are there any orchids that fit into my specifications?
