Default terrarium ground cover

is sphagnum moss a good terrarium ground cover if i plan to add poison dart frogs? if not what is a good substitute.

leaf litter. Gather some oak and or magnolia leaves or almond if you want to buy them and throw them in. Well maybe you wanna wash them first. Trust me, its better.

do i cut the leaves up or put them in there whole? it is a 20 gallon terrarium

No you dont have to cut or crush them. It is better to let them dry first that way they last longer and look more natural. I myself collected a bag full of Magnolia leaves just before they fell off the tree in the autumn. That is how I use them, dry and brown.

Did you get your frogs online? I have been doing research on them but do not have any local stores to check out.
