I love Schwerter!!
You should have ordered this one too, it's a really great equestris primary hybrid, and one of my favorite Phals.

The color is gorgeous, and the spikes keep extending and making new buds. I got 3 spikes on it this year.

Our mission on OB is to 'enable' others to buy more orchids!

I love their supply, they have so much to choose from (which is unhealthy for my wallet). I was very close to order an equestris 'Apari' but since the equestris var. coerulea was so expensive I decided to wait with it.

They didn't have that one when I ordered. I love the colour, absolutely love it! It's on my wishlist now. I'm very glad you guys are 'enabling' me to buy more orchids (even though my money don't agree).

I checked my account at Schwerter and it seems as if my order was registered twice? Oh, anyway, I've sent them a mail about it so I don't end up with six orchids instead of three!

No wonder you didn't see it, Purple Gem was added to the catalogue today!

I always 'hate' shopping there, lol. Since shipping is sort of expensive, I want to make it worthwhile by getting many orchids, and as a result I always end up spending over 100€!

Aha! Seems I have to turn my psychic powers on in the future when shopping there.

Oh, guh! Over a 100 euro?! Okay, I'll stop complaining about how 'expensive' my Phals were since they still can't measure up to that price. What I like the most about Schwerter is that they ship to almost anywhere. I've found plenty of vendors in the US but they only ship within the US so that doesn't help me at all.

Oooh, I'll just sit here and drool over the Dpts. Purple Gem 'Blue' for a bit.

(you really shouldn't have shown me that one...)

Sounds like you need some enabling if you only find vendors in the US...

My favorite: Nardotto e Capello Shop I only order when I'm home in France, shipping is much much cheaper.

Some german ones:
Großräschener Orchids
Popow Orchids His ebay plants are much cheaper, his name there is lepantes. Cheapest shipping of all the germans.
Roellke Orchideen

I know an amazing Dutch grower too, but he only ships to bordering countries.

Thanks! I've been trying to find vendors in Europe but so far I haven't been very lucky.

Oh, none of the vendors had anything I wanted... Hang on, shouldn't I be happy about that instead? I save money after all.

I only listed my favorites, so there's plenty more other places! What orchids are you looking for?

For the moment I'm kind of obsessed with equestris, so equestris in other words.
