doritis pulcherrima 'superporn' x selfing
Hi,
this my doritis in bloom which won judges as well as members choice few months ago.
I Do not know if I spell correctly.

Thanks for the mail to answer your question,I do not know,because got it through a middle man vendor.The grower is or was A.O.S. judge/local judge the person does not live here any more, that's all I can say.

Since my mind spends a good amount of time in the gutter, I have had a really bad time with some of these names.  Seems there are quite a few hybrids with similar names. Not sure, but I believe they come from China or Korea. Some words just don't travel well.

What's wrong with 'superporn' - it a lovely name for it! But I think it could be a misspelling of 'chamPORNensis'; the rest will be explained by Mr Freud.
Lovely plant anyway - vibrant color!

I think it is some sort of country related thing, an Asian woman at work (from Thailand I believe) is named Nawaporn.... But for obvious reasons she prefers to be called Kwan.
