You can grow Brazilian cacti in the landscape where you live: Pilosocereus, Coleocephalocereus (AKA Buiningia), Tacinga, Arrojadoa, Micranthocereus, Leocereus, Jasminocereus. Discocactus too, but they are small, so better in a pot.
