The trick to dealing with lack of space is to buy only compact/mini plants! You can fit at least twice as much in the same space.

Minis also have the advantage of being easy to smuggle into the house, if you live with someone who doesn't completely approve of your orchid habit!

I've managed to get quite a few in, completely unnoticed. Until I got the remark one day "say.... I thought you had less than that??"

I only have five orchids so I dont have to smuggle any in, yet
