If your weather has been anything like here (overcast and rainy for weeks on end), if you suddenly have a couple nice days the plants theoretically could burn since they are not used to the light anymore.

How did you collect your rainwater? If it's coming from collection barrels that have been sitting full of water for a long time, a plant debris falls in, it's entirely possibly for it to be contaminated with plant pathogens.

Best course of action now would probably be watch and wait. If the spots don't progress further, then it was likely sunburn (this is assuming the get some direct light, you don't mention this). If the spots spread, it's likely a disease and you may need to remove the affected leaves.

As to the roots, the fuzz is normal. It's a sign of nice healthy roots, and the root hairs help take up water. I don't often see them on Phal roots, but they're generally in the pot where it's nice and humid.
