Lock your boyfriend and your Masdevallia in your trunk for an hour. When you open it up, which is more happy to see you?

For what it's worth, the same thing happens to me regularly. I just wipe it off with a sponge. I have chemical and mold allergies and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Estacion probably has a handle on the chemical cause of it but, I use water from my PUR filter so (according to PUR) it is pretty clean. Something else sI use a lot of with good results is Lysol Power and Free spray. It is Hydrogen peroxide with a cleaner in it. Back in the day, when I had the nursery running, I used a very pricey product called Zerotol. It was a high percentage peroxide and it worked very, very well. So does Lysol at a much cheaper price. (And if you are messy, it doesn't bleach your clothes).
