Miltoniopsis and S/H method any experience? Female
Default Miltoniopsis and S/H method any experience?

I'm considering trying semi-hydroponics with a miltoniopsis orchid that I've been struggling with. The orchid was repotted almost a year ago from a heavy soil mix (what it was bought in) into fine bark/perlite/charcoal. I will admit, I'm a beginner, and still learning, so I struggled to keep it as hydrated as it would have liked. Especially when 10 new pseudobulbs popped up out of nowhere!! The orchid is growing, but not thriving, and I'm thinking I may need to come up with an alternative method. I'm wondering if anyone has tried S/H with miltoniopsis and whether they were successful or not? If not, what methods do you find have worked for you? Thanks in advance!
