Rescued a phal.--in sphag about 4-5 weeks ago--and transfered to s/h but lost all it's roots and yellowing of bottom leaves from shock. Took the orchid out, stripped off the outer layer of rotting roots, leaving the inner dense framework for support.
Started lightly spraying the bottom part of the orchid with 1:50 kelpmax about every other day. The yellow leaves started dropping and the first nub started appearing about 3 weeks ago. Total with 8 upper root tips, 2 more incoming nubs, and one new leaf
