The water in your trays will evaporate off faster, and you will need to stay ontop of it to make sure there is always some water there. Humidity trays really only do a good job in small rooms or if there are a lot, a lot, a lot!!! of them, spread out, like a lake or something. I think you are better off with a humidifier. The S/H will keep your roots nice and humid, all you need to worry about is the leaves. As for temperature, its easier to just increase the temperature of the room, isn't it??? Let us know

I'm sure you will be able to increase humidity by putting the water heater in the humidity trays. Cold humidity trays add few percents to the humidity arouns the plants. So, the warm one will be even more efficient. But I think you will have a problem with evening temperature drop.
Dennis seems to think, In 1 of his posts he was insulting or feels as though others would be insulted by 1 of them.
What I do not understand and don't like is that he has edited out all of his postings
If indeed that was any of his posting in question, then I would have liked for only that post to have been rejected or edited.
Sure wish he would come back and let us know what's really going on, Seems most of us are at loss
