I'd leave it s/h but your going to have to water more because the the big new growth hasn't grown new roots. Or you can cut off the big new growth and put it in bark, and leave the small new growth...

You don't need to order from orchidweb, you can order from where ever. If you only have 1 neo and you want to mound, you probably only need about 5-10 grams of sphag. I'd go for the AAA sphag.
