Help ID this old, pink Cattleya
I got this Catt 10 years ago. It had a name then. I was a species purist at the time and only had a few, older, well-known-named-awarded hybrid Catts in my collection. The tag has long since...

Peruvian Orchid Culture
Hi Royal Orchids,
For me, the Peruvian forms of luteola, violacea & maxima are easy to grow. I killed my fair share of Brazilian violaceas & Ecuadorean maximas. I grow the luteola mounted on a 1/4...

C. forbesii "Olga"
The growth habit is the same as forbesii and it bloomed with my other forbs, but the open lip is what makes me suspect that its not pure forbesii.

C. luteola - Peru
I got this plant from Lee Moore a number of years ago. I've had a lot of luck with the Peruvian Cattleya species, including maxima, violacea and rex. I'm still trying to master iricolor & mooreana.

I got this plant from Tropical World Orchid Nursery. Mosca = White? I guess it's an alba form of C. gaskelliana. This is it's first bloom!
