Thanks for your replies. I'll just let it alone and water normally (or maybe a little less during the winter). It was such a mess when I got it, it was nice to see its bloom. Light is very good, a...

Zygopatelum rest period
I rescued a zygopetalum that was very nearly dead. It came back, started to put out a new growth, and then surprisingly flowered. Flowers lasted about five weeks, and now a month after flowering...

This is an Aliceara, growing well, flowering regularly. I just turned it around and found the leaf damage show in the pics (first pic is the back of the damaged area). The damage is confined to...

Could this have been done by fruit flies?
This is a rescued plant, an Oncidium I believe. It's been treated with neem oil and Seven twice (about two months ago and then last week), but these "spots" persist. I can't find any trace of pests...

It's been at this spot for about 2-3 years. I live in Minnesota, and in summer I put up a screen to limit the light, and then take the screens down in winter when the sun stays low to the horizon. ...

This is a rescue plant I’ve had for about 4-5 years. It has always been small and light green in color, but its looking anemic – sun burn? I may have fertilized a little too frequently (10-10-10),...

Are Miltassia Charles M. Fitch slow growers?
Are these slow growers? Mine puts out a new pseudobulb about once a year. It has no bugs, no bacteria/fugus problems -it's just slow. Regular watering with somewhat drying out between, 2500-3000...

Found these two in the bottom of a cattleya tray. Any idea what they could be? Pics are at the limit of my camera magnification.

There are no visible pests anywhere on the plant or in the potting medium. I'm hoping it's not a virus.

Small circular damage on leaves of an unknown orchid
This orchid was taken from an extremely stressed abandoned plant (pic 4), I have no idea what type of orchid it is. There were no visible pests or leaf damage.
The rescued plant is growing...

Both growths are at the first node, about an inch above the potting medium which seems weird for new growth. I was wondering if they weren't so much kieki's, but rather just new growth.

Tiny Dendrobium Antennatum with kieki’s
This is my first dendrobium, I’ve had it since May 1, 2022. The plant did nothing for about 30 days, then quickly sprouted two keiki’s low to the potting mix (high filtered light, about 3,000-3,500...

I recently found some sort of bugs (type unknown)...

Psychopsis: sunburn, bugs or virus?
Pic 1 is the effected area, it's like the leaf "delaminated". The brown areas do not flake off, no indication of pests of any sort.
Pic 2 is the front of the leaf with the effected area outlined....

Bugs Identified (I think) - Weevil
Small, beetle-like bugs, medium speed crawling, no flying (that I've noticed). Based on their roundish, beetle-like body and long frontal antennae, I think that they belong to the weevil family. I...
