The last orchid definately looks like rot to me but it could just be the picture clarity. You can check by gently squeezing the root and if it feels slimy or soft then you have rot.

Orchids sometimes bud blast when their conditions change. I have had this on many occasions. As long as the orchid is ok just give it a rest and let it rebloom.
