I agree. The blue color is outstanding and it is a rare 'true' blue, not a purple blue. I am not sure that I would have the courage to cut the spike off. Beautiful plant!

I did not even see this rlc in spike. Only today did I notice the large blooms. According to my tracking, this is the 4th time it has bloomed--usually in July and August, but this time in February.

I am glad that you are here. We are at the end of our 'cool-dry' season as temps start drastically rising. I think right now may be the best blooming time of the year here for orchids--not too hot...
