I got 36 out of there,only 6 i would consider small.

Sheesh that is a lot of potting.i just hope they going to make it.i went with a few different mediums,some in plain bark,some in pool filter sand,some in perlite and some in mixtures of the different mediums.placed them all in the shadier part of the greenhouse.i read twice now that you can get excellent results by placing the new plants in perlite and standing them in a little fertiliser solution,but that sounds strange to me.has anybody tried this?

No i haven't. Pot them in community pots. Seven Stanhopea with at least 40 in some! Used bark for them all. And then the 17 Disa uniflora
