Need help with growing (possible) keiki

it is my understanding that the nodes have a paper like scale that can be carefully peeled back to expose the potential terminal. if a cytokytin paste is applied its a 50/50 in terms of bud or baby. But it increases your odds using the paste. Also if you have knowledge of leds you can purchase a far red led 15w growth bulb and position it to shine directly at the node within 4" and the far red or infared wavelength will innitate growth. I only grow with leds!

Thanks rick84, I'll have to have a look and see if I can get any of the paste, although a setup with lights or leds might be a bit difficult, the plant I've been talking about in this thread is one of my Mum's and she's not really into orchids enough to want to get leds or anything.
