Zone 10b Ideas
 

I have kept orchid inside terrariums for the past few years and would like to try growing orchids outside. My house is in zone 10b and somewhat coastal. Would the north or east side be better for orchids? Also, should the rack/wall be somewhat enclosed or just covered with shade cloth. Please reply with any recommendation for orchids.

Check out Santa Barbara Orchid Estate Home Page . I think anything they have listed as temperature tolerant that can deal with warm conditions would be a potential candidate.
